The best people-focused CEO category is open to the chief executives of Kenyan-based companies or companies with an office in the Kenya. You cannot self-nominate for this category – nominations are welcomed from the HR director, peers and colleagues at that level with the nominees consent.
Submissions should demonstrate testimonials of the CEO’s commitment to and involvement with the organisation’s people strategy, Talent Development/ Management/Wellness and flexi work approaches, Compliance to employee relations/ industrial relations-employment laws, diversity and inclusion among others
This Award is open to the HR leaders at the very top of their organisations – chief people officers, chief HR officers, people and culture directors and any variations on this title. The HR Leader need to have not less than 15 Years of Experience and an Active member of IHRM. This Awards Recognizes the Upcoming HR Professional- below 27 years and is a member of IHRM. This award seeks to spotlight young HR Professionals Trailblazing and not afraid to stand by making tangible contributions in their HR Roles. Entrants of
this category can self-nominate with references/ testimonials from their supervisor/ head of HR or be nominated by their supervisor, peers or their HR leaders with their consent
Entrants need to demonstrate outstanding initiatives that they have led or immensely contributed in and have yield applaudable impact to business goals. The initiative need
to detail creativity, innovation and development of new ideas whose attributed results have caused a leap of growth in their organizations or workspace
This Recognition shall be accorded to an HR Professional who has devoted time to a mentee & career growth. The Mentor submitting application must be an active member of IHRM. Entrants of this category can self-nominate with references/ testimonials from their supervisor/ head of HR, peers, mentees or be nominated by their supervisor, peers, mentee/s or their HR leaders.
The Submission need to evidence a Mentor and Mentee working together and collaborating for at least three months and quantifiable growth attributed to this relationship. The Entry need to include contact information for both mentor and the mentee. One or more letters of reference from a mentee/ mentees providing insight into the relationship between the mentor and mentee, length mentorship in months, project/s of collaboration, changes in skills and behaviours or examples of success is expected.
This category is open to any HR professional below HR director level and above HR Entry Level and is a member of IHRM. Entrants of this category can self-nominate with references/ testimonials from their supervisor/ head of HR or be nominated by their supervisor, peers or their HR leaders with their consent. This award recognises the game-changing HR Leader who has demonstrated futuristic mind-set by authoring future predictive HR trends, is pro data, analytics and has evidence of guiding the body of HR or their organization in practical implementations evidence based decision making. The award celebrates the HR leader who have already made a big impact on their organisations or spaces they work in on matters of Technology adoption, has injected new trends in solving HR and Organization challenges. The judges expect clear entries that demonstrate introduction of rather novel and useful ideas, concepts, work approach and ideologies whose application has led to improved efficiency and effectiveness in delivery of results. Quantifiable initiatives, approaches, or specific actions that authentically have helped shift way of working or doing things from the status quo to a new resourceful trend.
